On December 14th, I had the privilege of leading an art workshop with 19 Ukrainian refugee children, aged 8 to 13, in collaboration with ARCA: Romanian Forum for Refugees and Migrants and woodcraft specialist, David Burke. Together, we explored the concept of home, building small wooden houses and decorating them with collaged imagery that represented their personal experiences and memories.

This workshop highlighted the resilience and imagination of these incredible young artists. Their creations will be featured in my upcoming exhibition, 'Guiding Lights: Stories of Home, Memory, and Belonging', on March 3rd 2025.
